So I thought I would update since it's been awhile.  I had a blast this last weekend!  It was good times in Bricktown Friday night with my nursing school folks and then of course the big event...Jen's birthday.  You know, I'm thinking about becoming a professional bowler.  jk!  It was fun and I think we did it up right.  Now if we can ever get Jules home and Schmem 21 we can all go out and get our dance on.  She called me last night and is in Vegas having a blast.  I got a txt at 5am this morning from her that said she just met Travis Barker and got a picture.  I wish I was in Vegas.  Anyway, I miss her like crazy and she'll be back in OK this weekend. 

So school sucks and I keep procrastinating hard core.  But it's working out for me so far.  I'm taking this nursing research class (BORING) and we were supposed to read a 30 pg chp and answer a question and post it to a bulletin board by yesterday.  So I read 3 pages, said screw it, answered the question and posted it at 11:47pm.  I get a message from my teacher...."Lindsay, those are WONDERFUL responses, I agree...blah blah."  I love it.  Just goes to show that I should get a BS in bull shiest!  HA.

I got really do some reading now though.  No class today means, here's your time to get caught up.  Hope everyone else's week is going well!

HHHEEEYYY!!!!  I'm back...on xanga.  I've been so busy this summer that I just said screw it and quit looking at xanga.  But last night I read all your guys posts so now I'm back in the swing of things.  So I just want to comment on Lauren's trip down memory lane with all of your old toys.....man I was totally a Barbie girl!  My mom's house has a really long living room....longer than my living room in my apt now and I would set up shop...taking a whole day and strategically placing all the furniture to make different homes and such.  I too have a Barbie convertible, mini van, motorcycle, and 4 wheel type vehicle with horse bugee and horses that it pulled.  Oh and let's not forget the hotdog stand, or the tent for when barbie went camping or the swimming pool.....the only difference Lauren is I still have all this!!!  I can't wait till my nieces really get into it and I can "help them" set up house on their own...man. 

And the term my sister's came up with and I know that Hen's heard me use this is "man I got Barbie back!"  You know, when you sit on the floor for a long time and your back starts hurting....  =)

So school has begun, another year....oh wait, my last year.  That doesn't seem possible does it? 

This weekend is the celebration of at least Hen's bday....Jules is still MIA so I'll have to get back to you on that one.  Anyway, everyone get ready to get your party on!

HHHHEEEEYYY!!!!  I'm still alive.  It's been a crazy summer I tell you.  I'm in Sprinfield, MO right now at my dad's house.  I came up a week ago last Thursday.  We did our big 4th of July thing on Monday the 3rd and everyone agreed it was the best display yet.  Debbie, who usually helps me do the show had to work so I recruited a 16 year old and 14 year old.  Precious.  We blew up over $1500 worth of fireworks.  Rachel and Matthew came up (they were at my bday) on Sunday before the 4th.  We went to Silver Dollar City one day and then shopping in Branson another day.  We had a good time.  I bought a $15 quesadilla maker...sweet.  And The rest of last week I was worthless.  I mean really obnoxiously lazy.  It rocked.

So I was supposed to go with my sister to St. Louis but that fell through so I went to Memphis with my dad.  Every summer my step mom collects my nieces (they live in North Carolina, Mississippi, and Missouri) and they all come to my dad's for a week and play.  So I went with them on Saturday to get my nieces.  We had just got there, were carrying in stuff and my dad tripped in the garage and fell on his right hip.  My dad is 64 years old, has severe arthritis and not brand new....it was horrible cause I can't get the sound out of my head of him hitting the concrete.  Anyway, we got him up and 3 hours later he said we need to go to the emergency room.  We went to Germantown Hospital where we sat for the next 6 hours in the waiting room.  Yes, 6 hours.  We got there at 7:30p and got in the back in a room at 1:30a.  Thank god it wasn't broken....just badly bruised.  He's on crutches and ok but wow it was scary for awhile. 

I'm staying here a little longer to help him out and play with my nieces ages 8, 7, 6, 5, 3 and Jack (1) and Kelton (4) will be here this weekend.

So that's what's been going on with me.  I'm going floating in Tahlequah on Friday if anyone wants to go.  It's going to be fun!  Then back to Springfield....then to Broken Arrow to my mom's with my brother and they're going to come to OKC and check out my apt and such.  Then it's work for the next 2 weeks...off to St. Louis for 311 August 2nd and then it's chillaxin time in OKC.  We'll all hook up eventually if not sooner than later!

Keep in mind little Niff's bday is coming up and Julie already turned 21 so we got plan some fun times for that.  Love and miss you all!

So I definately didn't go to work today.  I was supposed to observe in surgery and leaving my house at 6:30 just didn't feel like I could do it.  I even showered and then went back to bed.  The good thing is I didn't have to call in cause the hospital is so unorganized, they have no way of knowing or do they really care, if I was there!  So my mom called 3 times in a row about putting fertilizer on the grass till I got up and just did it.  Lord! 

Went and saw the Omen last night...talk about a disappointment.  Not to mention that I saw it with this fellow that I met a couple months ago and then ran into again and did the whole number swap.  Except now I've been out with him 2 times and well, last night I had to keep my hands folded so he didn't try to hold my hand.  He definately put the arm rest up when we sat down...that's great but I'M NOT TOUCHING YOU!  Geez...I've been around him twice and this is what I'm dealing with. 

The other summer lovin boy...he's pretty much out of the picture.  He's just really cute and I'm just gonna have to get over it!  Other than that, work is what I do most of the time.....hope everyone is having a lovely summer.  In July, we'll have to get together when Hen is back and Schmem is here and Laurenza....I really do miss you all.  So we'll have to kick it.  PEACE!

Oh lordy, "summer lovin, had me a blast.....summer lovin happened so fast.."  My sister said that was what Julie would be singin while she was in California but now that's what I'm singin!  Well something like that.  When I first came back home when school got out I ran into a guy that I knew from back in the day.  Digits were exchanged so on and so forth...well I hung out with him again last night.  His friend from work came and so did his best friend who also worked at Ace with me.  Oh it was crazy.  We went to Malonies this cheesy bar in Broken Arrow and I didn't have to pay for a single drink.  Except that the guy I had just met tried to lay the mack down and let's just say I had to tell him it wasn't him that I liked....(oh and this guy definately asked if he could leave his firearm in my car, he carries a gun just in case?!?!?!)  So yeah, preciousness.....

I have to work tonight...and the rest of the week.

Went to OKC on Thursday and Friday....Friday night went gay bar hopping and it was the scariest thing I've experienced in a while.  Man, the gay culture is so weird to me.  It's like a whole other world!  Anyway, just thought I'd say HHHEEEEEEEEYYYYY!
